Automated License Plate Reader

The Sunriver Police Department is committed to transparency, accountability, and the responsible use of technology to support public safety. We provide clear and accessible information to the community about our use of Flock Safety Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) cameras.

Flock cameras capture objective information about vehicles in public areas, including license plates and basic details such as make, model, and color. These systems do not collect personally identifiable information and do not use facial recognition technology.

Monthly Transparency Reporting

To promote openness and maintain community trust, the Sunriver Police Department publishes monthly ALPR data reports. We strive to balance transparency with public safety and privacy, ensuring appropriate access to information while protecting sensitive law enforcement operations.
