Deschutes Couty Alerts

SRALERTS is an opt-in text messaging tool for Sunriver-area informational updates. It is intended for non-emergency, messages such as severe weather preparedness, utility impacts, planned event impacts, road closures, and wildfire smoke or air quality information. To subscribe, text SRALERTS to 888-777. SRALERTS is not a substitute for Deschutes Alerts. Emergency alerts, evacuation notices, shelter-in-place instructions, and other protective action messages will be issued through Deschutes Alerts, Deschutes County’s official emergency notification system. Community members are encouraged to sign up for Deschutes Alerts to receive location-based emergency notifications. To sign up for Deschutes Alerts, visit deschutesalerts.org.

SSD Board Meetings

The SSD Board meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 1 p.m. to discuss pending business and take board action on necessary items. The public is welcome to attend and share input at regular monthly meetings. To attend virtually, see page two of the agenda.
