Vegetation Fire Update: A countywide emergency notification was issued regarding the vegetation fire southeast of Bend. At this time, the fire does not pose any threat to Sunriver. The notification was sent broadly to ensure residents across Deschutes County are informed. We will continue to monitor the situation and share updates if conditions change. (12:41 pm 8-7-26)

Emergency Alerts

Sign up for both SRALERTS and Deschutes Alerts to stay informed. SRALERTS provides opt-in, Sunriver-area updates, including severe weather preparedness, utility impacts, road closures, event impacts, and wildfire smoke or air quality information. Subscribe by texting SRALERTS to 888-777. For emergency notifications such as evacuation notices and shelter-in-place orders, sign up for Deschutes Alerts, Deschutes County's official emergency notification system, at deschutesalerts.org.

SSD Board

The SSD Board is the managing body of the District and consists of five appointed members. The Board is assisted by Administrator Mindy Holliday.

SSD Board Meetings
